Unique Electrode Design for Better Food Testing
Woonsocket, RI, May, 2018: Hanna Instruments recently added a new pH electrode for use with the Professional Portable pH Meters, the FC2053. The Hanna Instruments FC2053 Foodcare pH Electrode with Removable Sleeve has a unique design that separates it from other pH electrodes used for the measurement of food products.
“The biggest problem in measuring the pH of food products is the clogging of the junction of a pH electrode. This results in erratic readings and premature probe failure. The FC2053 is very beneficial to the user since the outer junction sleeve can be removed. This allows the user to clear any clogging by cleaning and replace the bridge electrolyte resulting in improved measurements and a longer probe life.”
